Introducing... the Campaign Manager of Teixeira/Atlanta 2008
What can I say, I'm a die-hard Atlanta Braves fan. Whether I am on the edge of my seat during the play-offs or lying around in the off-season, I am constantly checking up on the latest news revolving the team. In addition to my enthusiasm for the Braves, I'm a hardcore Miami Dolphins and New York Knicks fan... though, you will not find me creating such sites as whatareyoudoingstephon.com or rickyruinedthedolphins.com. The reason why the site was created is because I always felt I could offer more as a fan. It is easy to have thoughts in your mind, but I always wanted to make sure I expressed my ideas to the fullest potential. With my recent education on how to build basic websites, I thought why not jump on the opportunity. Why create it and see where it takes you? In the beginning of the 2007 season, I started to become annoyed with the fact Bobby Cox would constantly start Scott Thorman at 1st base. Especially seeing the same outcome with Thorman's bat and Saltalamacchia warming the bench, why not start it now. I stared at the Domain Register button and realized there was no turning back. I had to go all out for the sake of myself and Braves fans worldwide. Since receving positive feedback from sports writers from all news outlets, I realized that I can contribute ideas pertaining to the team in full and not just centered around Saltalamacchia. Next, I would find myself speaking of easy targets pertaining the Mike Hampton's contract and Chipper's fragile body. When the decision was made to trade Saltalamacchia to the Texas Rangers , I wondered what I would do next. As you all expected, I was discouraged and thought this would be the end, though suddenly realized that my loyalty to the Braves would not dissapear just because a preferred ballplayer was traded away. In result, I saw it as another opportunity to engulf the situation and see what comes out. With the domain now KeepTeixeira.com, the current situation is pretty self-explantory. As the whole baseball world is aware, Teixeira will be receivng his big payday come end of the season. Since I am aware that the Braves Organization has tendencies not to sign a big Free Agent to the club, I thought there was something I could do on my part to justify trading a future star in Salty. Who knows what the outcome will be. Even if things don't work the way I plan, all I can do is give it my best and hope I contribute to the fullest. My current location is in New Jersey and I am surrounded by Mets fans far and wide. In result, I am not affiliated with the Braves Organization, though if a ballboy vacancy was available, I would jump on the invitation in a heartbeat.
