The Atlanta Braves before Mark Teixeira

This is not as big of a conspiracy theory as I would like make it out to be, but when is the last time the Atlanta Braves had a consistent established, All-Star 1st-baseman??? .... or at least a solid 1st baseman??? It seems like all the past years, we have lacked a true star at the number one spot. I will give credit where it is deserved and agree that Fred McGriff was a good player for the Atlanta Braves. Though, keep in mind he had a short-medium stint with the team and it was towards the end of his career. You can't compare his tenure with the Atlanta Braves to a player who defined themselves with a team - such as Todd Helton or Lance Berkman.
