Seriously, Anyone know where Willy Aybar was?

Where was Willy Aybar during the 2007 Major League Baseball Season. From what I remember, we traded away Wilson Betemit for him the year before.... Since he mysteriously disappeared, did we give Wilson Betemit away for shits and giggles? Has anyone hear that Willy may have been fighting as a soldier in Iraq? If anyone has any insight as to where he was, please post it on the Message Board.
